Apple are now giving away snow leopard to Mobile Me (and iCloud) customers. If you have a MobileMe account and want a free update from earlier versions then login and grab one http://www.me.com/snow-leopard. Its still on the Apple Store US for 29$ and then makes Lion upgrades only £20. More importantly you’ll need the App Store to do the update as a personal user, this means yoou have to have Snow Leopard with all your updates installed.

It’s still not too late… there’s still time to upgrade all your copies of CS3 and CS4 to upgrade and save money in the long run.

For several years, Adobe has offered a ‘three version back’ upgrade policy – meaning customers who owned a prior CS product up to three major versions back would be eligible for discounted upgrade pricing when moving up to the latest release.

However, the upgrade policy is changing.

From 31st December 2012, only those customers on version CS5 will be qualify for the discounted upgrades. Customers on CS3 and CS4 will need to fork out for the latest release, purchasing the full suite or individual point products like Photoshop®.
