Apple donates to relief efforts after Myanmar-Thailand earthquake



Apple CEO Tim Cook took to X.com to announce that the company would be making donations to relief efforts following a 7.7 magnitude earthquake affecting Myanmar and Thailand.

“Our hearts go out to all those in Myanmar and Thailand affected by the devastating earthquake,” Cook wrote on his personal account. “Apple is donating to support relief efforts on the ground.”

The death toll from the Myanmar earthquake has surpassed 1,700 people, with more than 3,400 people injured. Survivors and bodies are still being pulled out from collapsed buildings, according to BBC News.
